What makes Fitness Together different from other training programs?
Fitness Together’s team of trainers and coaches understand that every client is unique. That’s why they create fitness and lifestyle programs that offer one-on-one training, individually tailored to meet each client’s needs. Clients reap the benefits of a goal-oriented training program conducted in private training suites.
What is the Fitness Together facility like?
One of the team’s foremost goals is to make clients comfortable so that their training experience is a positive one. Fitness Together’s facility has several private training suites that allow clients to train privately with their trainers. Training suites include a variety of weight machines, dumbbells, functional trainer (cable and weight), interactive training, step equipment and cardio machines, including an elliptical trainer, treadmill, and bicycle.
What are the benefits of having a trainer?
There are many benefits to having a personal trainer. They include:
- Helping clients stay motivated by being their “workout buddy” and supporting them every step of the way
- Teaching clients new exercises and techniques
- Ensuring that clients are using proper form to avoid injury and achieve the best results in the least amount of time
- Providing a varied workout program to help clients avoid boredom and stay motivated
How much does a typical training program cost and how often do clients come in to work out?
The cost of a program is based on a client’s specific goals, needs, and fitness level, there are no initial start-up costs or membership fees. All sessions are conducted in fully-equipped, private rooms with certified trainers. In addition, cardio equipment is available for client use at any time the studio is open, for no extra charge. Motivated clients will typically start their programs at 3 or 4 sessions a week, with a session rate ranging between $55-$85 per session. How are clients paired with a trainer?
Depending on scheduling and unique area of expertise, clients may be paired with any one of the team’s fitness experts. While clients work with one trainer, all of the personal trainers meet each week to review their client’s progress and assess the best methods for further progress.
Can Fitness Together’s team work with clients that have physical limitations?
Absolutely. Surveys show that 50 percent of personal fitness trainers' clients have special medical needs such as arthritis, diabetes or obesity. Fitness Together’s personal trainers can help clients with these or other issues including lower back pain, rehabilitation of an injury, and pre/postnatal training. They can work with a client’s physician, physical therapist or other health provider to plan a safe, effective program that will help them reach their health goals.
Can Fitness Together help clients with a nutritional program?
Yes, at Fitness Together the team works to provide clients with a complete fitness program that can include a healthy eating plan. Their goal is to help clients look and feel their best. A balanced, healthy diet is essential to turning this goal into a reality, so they will work hand-in-hand with clients to tailor a diet that is both healthy and enjoyable.
How quickly can clients expect to see results?
One of the greatest benefits of working with a trainer is that clients are guaranteed to see results more quickly, because workouts are consistent and effective. If clients follow Fitness Together’s program, along with a healthy diet, they can expect to start seeing results within just six weeks. (Based on a healthy weight loss of one to two pounds per week.)
How much time is recommended for clients to commit per week?
Of course, the time recommended will be tailored to the clients' goals and current levels of fitness. In general, the government recommended 30 minutes per day of exercise (www.mypyramid.gov) is a fine rule of thumb, and any time that a person can commit to is better than none. Fitness Together stresses the importance of the client’s commitment to building their personal health regimen, and they work hard to make their time as efficient as possible.
Are there special promotions for families or businesses?
Yes. Families, corporations, and organizations who train together are welcome and rewarded at Fitness Together. Please call Jessica (760-734-4338) for family, couples, or buddy training rates, and call Christine (760-438-9591) for corporate and professional group programs.
During what hours can clients train?
Appointments can be made between 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Think of Fitness Together as a personal gym! Trainers want to help clients find an exercise routine that works and are willing to open the doors as early or as late as clients need them to in order to adapt to their schedules.
